The Men’s Club is an arm of Beth Israel. The purpose of this organization is to strengthen Jewish consciousness by cultivating social interaction, encouraging social services, offering religious education, supporting activities that benefit the Congregation and promoting closer fellowship among its members. We welcome Jewish men in the congregation and community at large. Men’s Club men support the Beth Israel congregation and each other with a variety of spiritual, educational, and social activities.
Annual dues are $18 (Chai).

- Build and then take down the Sukkah for Sukkot
- Contributions to Beth Israel operational expenses
- Hands-on help and funds to augment special temple projects

Greetings to members of the Men’s Club, our Sisterhood, and all of the members of our Beth Israel family.
The Men’s Club wishes to thank all of the congregants who volunteered to be Ushers for the High Holy Days. These men and women are taking time away from their families and friends to serve the Temple on the occasion of our New Year. What a beautiful mitzvah!
Our Men’s Club has opened up its 2025-2026 membership drive to the men of the congregation. For only a small contribution, you will be able to enjoy the friendship of fellow members in a social setting (always with food!) almost once a month, enjoy a paid-up free luncheon, hear superb speakers, and actively be part of our great organization. Save these dates on your calendar/cell phone: The Men’s Club will be building our Sukkah at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3rd. Our leader, Jon Gamson, will give us directions on how to put together the color-coded poles and where to hold them. No experience is needed! On Monday, October 20th (note–this is a new date) at 10:00 a.m., we plan to dismantle our Sukkah. We will take anyone (that means you!) willing to join our Men’s Club to be part of a mitzvah and a great experience. Just show up! Or watch us build it! We welcome your contributions to the Temple.
This, too, is for the entire congregation: Our Men’s Club is again making a generous contribution to Beth Israel’s Second Fall Festival on Sunday, October 26th at noon. Open only to congregants, come for friendship and see people you haven’t talked to in awhile. And come for the food: hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, and beer. Bring your own chairs. See you there! We wish all of our Men’s Club, the Sisterhood, as well as all members of our congregation a happy and healthy New Year and an easy fast for those who do.
